Original Cartoons of Fantasy Art Creatures, Particularly Those that Children Would Enjoy (contest)

For this contest, the focus is on cartooning as it relates to the theme of our group, which is fantasy art.

There are a number of winners for this contest. The first 4 were chosen by Fine Art America members. There are also two first-place winners:

FIRST PLACE
"The Book" by Moira Risen
available for sale HERE

As promised to the artists, here is what it can look like framed:

framed versions of this piece can be found HERE
use drop-downs to choose frame types and mats
This frame is PLC11 under copper/bronze frames
The mat is off-white

As mentioned there are two second place winners (though they are the same artist):

SECOND PLACE (tied)
"The Scenic Route" by Michael Baker

SECOND PLACE (tied)
"Garden of the Imagination" by Michael Baker

THIRD PLACE

To fill out the blog post, I chose from the remaining works submitted for the following categories: Most Unusual, Most Creative and Most Fun (please note they are "remaining pieces" and I could have chosen the works above for those categories, but wanted to expose other art):

MOST UNUSUAL
"Steam Paddlefish" by Graham Wallwork
available for sale HERE

MOST CREATIVE
"Miss Fairy Pierrette" by Quim Abella
available for sale HERE

For "Most Fun" I chose several art works. I tried to keep it within a realm of what children might like.

At the end, I slipped in a surprise category and piece of art work.

MOST FUN I
"Toys, Joys and Baby Moon" by Nancy Lee Moran
available for sale HERE

MOST FUN II
"Steampunk Fluffy Bird" by Roseann Amaranto

Steampunk and Victorian Fantasy Art winners

Everlong by Putterhug Studio
FIRST PLACE
(this piece is available for sale HERE)
note: the "Fine Art America" watermark does not appear in actual products

Putterhug Studio remarks that this piece was inspired by "Everlong" and the Foo Fighters and muse, Peechez. It was created in PSPX3 and processed in PSE9.

Featured are a clock, gears, feathers, a red table, a writing pen with a black feather, an unusual lamp and a model dressed in Steampunk attire.

The next picture is what the piece would look like as a framed print. In this version, I have chosen a black frame with an inside gold trim (RR4 in the drop-down ) and an off-white mat (mist mat in the drop-down). Framed prints are available HERE:

Here is another framed print in a simple black frame (GG1) and the manor white mat (look through drop-downs):

Here is one of the products you can buy in this design (a phone case):

We have two second place winners. They ran a tie:

Featured is a girl with big eyes and steampunk attire. Here is another:
